Founded at the place of a Slavic fishing village as a businessman's settlement and sovereign castle, was Dresden since the 15-th century a residence of the Saxon dukes, elector and late kings.
The city had experienced glittering but also tragic times, them was above all in the 18-th century a splendid centre of European policy, culture and economy and became only two centuries later the synonym for apocalyptic destruction.

Our house is located 4 kilometers from the center of the city, between the big garden and the horse racing track.

You can go to the city center only in 15 minutes by tram.

The rebuilt church “ Frauenkirche” is a symbol of Dresden.
